Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026Drogo (“Drogo”, “we”, “us”) provides software that delivery businesses (each an “Organization”) use to run deliveries: a mobile app for their drivers, a dispatch dashboard for their staff, a tracking page for the people receiving a delivery, and connections to the Organization’s own systems. This policy explains what information those parts collect, how we use it, who sees it, and the choices you have. Our Terms of Service set out the contract with Organizations.
01Who this covers
- Drivers — people whose Organization created a driver account for them in the Drogo app.
- Dispatchers and administrators — an Organization’s staff who use the dashboard at admin.drogo.app.
- Recipients — people receiving a delivery, who may open a tracking page for it. We process recipient information on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the Organization they ordered from; that Organization is responsible for telling recipients how their information is used, and requests about it should go to that business. We forward any request we receive.
- Visitors to drogo.app who send us a message through the contact form.
02Information we collect
- Account information — a driver’s name, email address and phone number, provided when their Organization creates the account; a dashboard user’s name, email address and role.
- Precise location — a driver’s device GPS position, including while the app runs in the background, but only while the driver is on shift / online. This powers real-time tracking and dispatching. Position history is kept as part of the Organization’s delivery records.
- Delivery content — order and assignment details, the recipient’s name, delivery address and contact details, and what a driver submits to complete a delivery: proof-of-delivery photos, a signature where one is taken and, where the Organization requires it, an image of the recipient’s identity document.
- Sign-in and consent records — when an account signed in, from which device, and which version of the Terms it accepted.
- Device & diagnostic data — device identifiers, a push-notification token, app version, and crash and diagnostic reports used to operate and improve the app.
- Contact form — what a visitor to drogo.app types into it, with the page they came from.
03How we use information
- Operate the service: assign deliveries, navigate, and update order status.
- Show a driver’s live position to their Organization’s dispatchers and, while a delivery is in progress, to the recipient of that delivery on the tracking page.
- Send operational push notifications (new assignments, shift reminders).
- Calculate worked hours and earnings from the rules the Organization configures.
- Provide support, keep the service secure, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it for that purpose.
04Background location
The app collects location in the background only while you are on shift / online, so that deliveries can be tracked in real time. When you go offline, location tracking stops. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; doing so will limit core delivery features.
05How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:
- with the Organization you deliver for or ordered from, so it can dispatch and manage deliveries;
- with the Organization’s own connected systems — for example its point-of-sale or ordering platform — which receive delivery status and location events at the Organization’s direction;
- with recipients, who see the driver’s first name and live position on the tracking page during their delivery;
- with service providers who process data on our behalf, listed in section 6;
- where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
06Service providers
These providers process data for us, under contracts that limit them to that purpose. We update this list before adding one.
- DigitalOcean — cloud hosting and storage, in the United States (San Francisco region). Delivery photos and document images are stored there.
- Google Firebase — push notifications to the driver app and crash reporting.
- Mapbox — maps, routing and estimated arrival times.
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles in the driver app.
- Zoho — transactional email (account and password messages, notifications).
07Data retention & deletion
Account information is kept for as long as the account exists. Delivery records — orders, position history, proof-of-delivery images — belong to the Organization and are kept for as long as its account is active and the law requires it to keep them; the Organization can ask us to export or delete them. Backups are kept for 14 days. Crash and diagnostic reports are kept by our provider for 90 days.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address below; we will action verified requests as permitted by law. How a driver’s account is deleted, and what is kept, is described at Account & Data Deletion.
08Security
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems, and stored images are served only through time-limited signed links. If we confirm unauthorized access to personal data, we notify the affected Organization within 72 hours of confirmation so it can meet its own obligations to its people.
09Children
Drogo is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Drivers must be 18 or older, or older where their Organization’s license requires it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post them; we notify Organizations at their administrator address, and the “Last updated” date above always states when this policy last changed.
